What you’ll do
This dynamic position blends administrative and strategic responsibilities to bolster our employee-owned company and RICHIR (respect, integrity, courage, honesty, initiative, and responsibility) Values. Utilizing a blend of business and HR experience, you’ll collaborate with leaders across all levels to shape strategy, facilitate change management, and foster a culture of employee-owner engagement. This hands-on management role spans various functional areas, actively engaging in people operations, including:
· Recruitment
o Lead talent acquisition strategy and end-to-end recruiting process
o Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand staffing needs and ensure the acquisition of the right talent
· Training & Development
o Encourage a “Culture of Mentoring”
o Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance manager and employee skills, foster professional growth, and thrive in a remote-first environment

· HR Management
o Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR functions and implement effective solutions
o Stay informed about evolving HR trends and proactively integrate best practices into our operations
o Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, corporate strategy and industry best practices
o Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
· Strategy
o Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives
o Serve as a strategic advisor, contributing to success of the organization as a remote first operation while fostering an employee-centric, positive company culture
What you need to thrive in this role
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
· PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification preferred
· At least 3 years of HR Manager experience
· Employee-ownership (ESOP) understanding preferred
· Remote work proficiency
· Technical Industry Background:
o Previous experience in a technical/ technology-driven company, understanding the nuances of the industry and the specific HR needs that arise in this dynamic sector
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local Human Resource related laws & regulations
· Demonstrated ability to develop and establish standards and procedures and enact change
· Work effectively with others, treat others with courtesy and respect; be a team player
· Ability to think analytically about problems
· Excellent communication skills – written, oral, presentation, etc.
