TITLE: MIG Welder

SHIFT: 7-3:30 or 8-4 M-F

We are looking for a MIG Welder that will be responsible for several types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to assemble products according to specifications, customer drawings, and other forms of instructions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Adept in the assigned welding techniques such as Torch & Plasma Cutter, Stud Gun, and MIG.
Must have an understanding of mechanical drawings, specifically weld requirement zymology.
Understanding of filler and wire materials functions for various steel alloys.
Practical understanding of fixturing and weld set-up guidelines (volts, amps, etc.) for MIG Welder.
Capability to interpret and read traditional (Tape Measure) and precision measuring tools.
Maintain welding equipment.
Finish grinding applications utilizing manual and power tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, or equivalent, is preferred.
At least 2-3 years of experience in several forms of welding, preferably in a job shop environment.
Adept at MIG welding.
TIG and stick welding are a plus.
Must have strong blueprint reading skills.
