Requirements

ICU Experience is a MUST – this position will be a member of the Neuro IR Stroke Team.
Endotracheal ventilation (including basic management and understanding of ventilators).
Tracheostomy patients (including ventilation through stoma).
Vasoactive and sedation drips.
Safe use of paralytics.
Set up, troubleshooting, and use of arterial lines.
External Ventricular Drains (including Camino ICP monitoring).
External Pacemakers.
Chest Tubes.
Swan/Cordis central line catheter use and monitoring.
Recovery and monitoring of arterial puncture sites.
RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Charting System: EPIC (required).

Preferred:

Epic Cupid (preferred).
TNCC (strongly preferred).
