Requirements- ICU Experience is a MUST – this position will be a member of the Neuro IR Stroke Team.
- Endotracheal ventilation (including basic management and understanding of ventilators).
- Tracheostomy patients (including ventilation through stoma).
- Vasoactive and sedation drips.
- Safe use of paralytics.
- Set up, troubleshooting, and use of arterial lines.
- External Ventricular Drains (including Camino ICP monitoring).
- External Pacemakers.
- Chest Tubes.
- Swan/Cordis central line catheter use and monitoring.
- Recovery and monitoring of arterial puncture sites.
- RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Charting System: EPIC (required).
Preferred:- Epic Cupid (preferred).
- TNCC (strongly preferred).
