Summary:
A bit about us: We’re a warm and growing family seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to provide loving care for our newborn and toddler. As our toddler will be starting daycare in May, this position will primarily focus on infant care, with occasional activities for the toddler during shared time. We value a clean, structured, and joyful environment for our children to thrive.

A bit about you: You are an experienced and nurturing caregiver who truly loves children and has a passion for helping them grow and thrive. Your ideal day includes creating a warm and stimulating environment for a baby, supporting development, and maintaining healthy routines. You’re a team player who communicates well with parents and enjoys being part of a collaborative household. You’re also detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing day-to-day tasks.

Job Duties: Your primary focus will be providing exceptional care for our newborn, with occasional activities for our toddler. Specific responsibilities include:

Establishing and maintaining healthy sleep and feeding routines for our newborn.
Preparing and feeding formula bottles, as well as handling diaper changes.
Supporting light household tasks, such as: keeping the baby’s play and feeding areas clean and organized, assisting with small errands, and baby-related laundry.
Occasionally engaging the toddler with fun, age-appropriate games or outdoor play (e.g., backyard or nearby parks).

Qualifications:

Experienced: You have extensive experience caring for infants and toddlers, are confident in your ability to manage their distinct needs.
Clean and Safety-Focused: You follow best practices for hygiene and prioritize safety in all caregiving tasks.
Energetic and Joyful: You bring positive energy and enthusiasm into every interaction with the children.
Vaccinated: You’re fully vaccinated, including baby-related vaccines and COVID-19.

Set yourself apart: If you have strong knowledge of baby sleep training techniques, enjoy bringing fun and creativity into a toddler’s day, and value clear communication with parents, you’ll be a fantastic fit! A vehicle is a plus for running errands or trips to nearby playgrounds. We hope you’re comfortable with pets too, we have an American Shorthair (but no pet responsibilities are expected, she’s older and does not move around a lot).
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (35+ hours/week)
Pay: $35-40 an hour
