Position Summary: Assist in preparation and serving food

Key Responsibilities:

• Serves as a representative of Roanoke College, displaying courtesy, tact and respect in all interaction with our students, members of the RC community and with the general public.
• Apply proper methods of safety and sanitation as instructed by the VDH and Dining Service Management.
• Provides instruction/direction to student workers.
• Ensure that all food items are prepared according to instruction and on a timely basis.
• Enforce regulations as set forth by ABC.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the production area, seating area, storage areas and equipment.
• Responsible for stocking and rotation of inventory.
• Complete station assignment responsibilities and help elsewhere as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures as established by Dining Service Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with others
