<p dir="ltr">The Risk Manager will be responsible for leading Chip’s Enterprise Risk program reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer and identifying, evaluating, and reducing risks that could affect Chip’s business goals, customers or operations. They will play a key role in keeping the Board and Executive Team up-to-date on the most impactful risks affecting the business and will have an excellent ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging risks. They will also lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and methodologies across the organisation to ensure that key risks are tackled in a proportionate and timely manner.</p><p dir="ltr">The successful candidate will work closely with all business units to ensure that risk management policies and strategies are well embedded into Chip’s decision-making. You will be comfortable operating at a senior level and have proven experience in bringing risk management to life; translating the theory into practical tools to help the business mitigate risks. Working as part of a small team you will enjoy “rolling your sleeves up” to help tackle the risks you identify as well as the ability to zoom out and translate your expertise for senior and non-specialist stakeholders.<br></p><p><strong>What you can expect to be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Line management of the Risk Analyst and development of existing frameworks to become a best-in-class risk function who acts as a trusted partner to the business. Collaborate with Compliance and 1st line teams to ensure an effective, embedded risk culture that considers end-to-end impacts</li><li>Chair the internal Risk and Compliance Committee and prepare high quality, accurate and insightful risk reports for senior management and the board highlighting key risks, trends and mitigation strategies</li><li>Develop and maintain Risk Management policies, procedures and frameworks ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices. Participate in horizon scanning to ensure potential new risks to the business are identified and accounted for </li><li>Ensure your comprehensive risk management framework and approach proactively identifies, assesses and prioritises risks across the business. Develop plans to mitigate identified risks and reduce their impact on business objectives ensuring strong stakeholder collaboration to complete actions in a timely manner </li><li>Lead on the development and execution of business continuity plans and testing. Ensure clear incident management processes are in place promoting strong operational resilience</li><li>Excellent communication with external stakeholders including board members, regulators, auditors and banking partners to ensure compliance with all risk-related requirements<strong><br></strong></li></ul><p><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Direct experience in risk management roles, including experience in leading a function with responsibility for strategy</li><li>Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies</li><li>Deep experience in at least one area of risk such as operational, fraud, commercial or cyber.
