About the Role
The Salesforce Developer will serve as a trusted agent of change to the business, building solutions that promote, improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, guided by experienced Salesforce Architects in our Rev Ops team. Our Salesforce instance is of great importance to us, therefore you should keep the wider organization’s best interests in mind when composing and deploying any code.We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and open to learning best practice development from the team. This role comes with the opportunity to absorb knowledge and grow as a developer. Reporting to the Director of Sales systems and Processes, within the Revenue Strategy and Operations organization, this role focuses on technical build, architecture and development operations, supporting the GTM strategy through system administration, infrastructure, and security.
About You
You are an innovative and collaborative professional with a deep understanding of sales business processes and familiarity with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick). Your expertise lies in design, implementation and dev ops best practices, while working closely with team lead and solution architect to build robust, scalable, and flexible solution architectures. You excel in designing prototypes, building proof of concepts, and frameworks. You demonstrate the ability to collaborate and coordinate with other developers and admins on the team, drive results, resolve problems, and make decisions, facilitating organizational change and adaptation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical design sessions, create user stories, and develop aligned technical documentation.
- Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
- Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
- Working with integrated applications such as [CPQ, Clari, Xactly, API integrations, etc].
- Testing (unit and systems), and debugging your code and peer-reviewing code for other developers on team.
- Striving towards coding best practices and data quality.
- Contributing to technical documentation.
- Supporting the Salesforce Administrator on occasion.
- Support change management activities for program rollouts in collaboration with Operations, Enablement, and other teams.
- Recommend improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of hands-on technical experience in Salesforce development experience(Aura, LWC, JS, APEX, and VisualForce).
- Salesforce.com certifications (Platform Developer II required; Advanced Administrator preferred).
- Proficient in Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench and Excel for data analysis and quality initiatives.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including experience with senior leadership engagements.
