Your Role:  

As the Sr. Manager of EV Charging Operations, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to provide and achieve best-in- class charging strategy, products and experience around FF vehicles, purchase, charging and ownership. Collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders, ranging from sales, engineering, customer service, technical service, finance, warranty, and manufacturing is key to FF’s charging operations experience and success.  This role will manage and execute “all–things charging” for FF, across both the business and technical side of the Aftersales team. In this role, you will support the creation and execution of external partnerships and develop and manage EV infrastructure and charging experience strategies and programs, as well as monitoring and addressing any charging related performance issues on FF’s vehicles.

Additionally, you will:  

  • Own and execute the roadmap to achieving best-in-class charging and energy strategy, products and most importantly – user experience
  • Work closely with leadership to communicate relevant charging topics to present critical strategic, operational and performance information
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop solutions to complex business and technically critical issues 
  • Monitor, identify, investigate, report and support the resolution of vehicle charging related issues in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Facilitate and manage cross-functional project teams focused on developing and improving the user experience related to all EV charging topics for home, public, sales and service partners
  • Build a strong network of external relationships throughout the EV ecosystem. This will include suppliers, consultants, analysts, utilities, and other stakeholders in the EV infrastructure and charging industry.
  • Research business and customer experience opportunities that may enhance the FF charging and energy strategy/portfolio adjacent to currently existing EV opportunities
  • Engage on the insights, analyses, challenges including building clear presentations and present clearly with confidence to key decision-makers
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and program management teams crafting and executing necessary strategies to optimize charging experience
  • Collaborate with supplier quality and testing teams to drive component and system level charging improvements
  • Manage the Charging Operations budget
  • Support and coordinate with FF Service Engineering team and Customer Care on all charging related topics
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of professional experience with EV charging and related energy programs with an automotive OEM or EV charging company, utility, or organization focused on EV/customer experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Experience with new business and product development process
  • Demonstrated structured problem solving
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment 
  • Comfortable working in a start-up with new processes/concepts and challenging approaches to ensure solutions are achieved
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business concepts, including the ability to critically evaluate and create project plans
  • Action-oriented with strong business acumen / strategic agility
  • Team building and leadership
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Prioritization and decision-making skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Engineering/Technical degree in related field of study 
  • 5+ years of experience with automotive OEM in an electrification-based role, EV charging company, utility, or organization focused on EV/customer experience 
  • Previous experiences and high knowledge level of high voltage, low voltage, and General Electric vehicle systems, charging products and design, testing, and instrumentation 

Annual Salary Range:

($118,000 - $153,500 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
