Title: MRI Tech/ Radiology Tech/ Ultrasound Tech/ CT tech (Lead/ Supervisor roles Available)
Location: Richmond, VA  23235
Duration: Permanent
Multiple Shift: 36/40 Hours per Week
Salary range: Based on years of experience.

Job Description:
 

• Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercise's ability to adjust protocols as required.
• Ensures patient safety by screening for contraindications such as, but not limited to, cardiac pacemakers, sheet metal fragments, shrapnel, jewelry, wallet, metal prosthesis, etc.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations (i.e. Meditech and PACS). Ensure proper charges are entered and referring physicians' orders are verified.
• Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
• Reviews each exam for technical accuracy (i.e. technical quality, anatomical positioning, annotation, etc.) and completes verification process in PACS.
• Completes and maintains educational requirements.
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patient information according to Policy and Procedure.

 
Education:
 

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.

 
Licensure/certification:
 

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Current CPR certification (required)
