| This position would be responsible to perform for SCM business requirement gathering, analysis, development and maintenance activities on all AS400 applications for one of biggest life sciences client. The resource will be responsible for maintenance/development of solution of applications resides in AS400 which interacts with other applications on different platforms. Also the candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as within a team. Detailed Job Responsibilities: Perform Design, Development, Maintenance of applications and Production Support using CL/CLLE, SQL, DDS, RPG III, RPG IV, Free Form RPG and ILE on AS400. Expertise in communication with Business people and understand the Requirement. Perform the System analysis, Design, Development, Integration, Debugging, Code review, Maintenance, Documentation, Testing, Deployment and Production Support. Manage application service and change requests (problem resolution, new features, new structures, configuration settings). Develop technical specs from functional requirements. Manage expectations with key stakeholders (ERP Manager, customers, program managers, etc.) as to delivery and status of the deliverables. Create/recommend system solutions and modifications that increase productivity. Review, analyze, design, and assist in modifying business application systems including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment. Understand business and technical requirements; develop, document, and implement solution designs. Effectively communicate status and issues as needed Perform on-call support as needed Experience Required: 10+ years of programming experience in AS400. 2+ years of experience of SCM process. Superior interpersonal and communications skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust to changing project schedules. |
