Lead Physical Therapist- Full-Time Day Shift
The Lead Physical Therapist evaluates patients, plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. The Physical Therapist demonstrates proficient clinical knowledge and skills in delivering care to assigned age specific patient populations within an interdisciplinary team environment. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of current experience in an acute care setting.
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Licensure/Certifications:
Current California Physical Therapy License or NPTE board exam eligibility
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA), required.
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or equivalent, required (AB508 and SB1299).
