Maintenance Personnel (Multi-technician)

The American University in the Emirates is searching for Maintenance Personnel who is in charge of ensuring that campus facilities are functional, safe, and conducive to a productive learning environment. Their responsibilities includes routine upkeep of facilities to responding to emergency repairs.

Salary Range & Benefits: AED 4,000 & Additional Benefits

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 – 3 years’ relevant field experience
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible with work timings and work different shifts.

Job Description

1. Coordinates with the department manager, DIAC foreman to complete the maintenance and work efficiently.
2. Install electrical / office furniture (e.g. lights, electrical panels, office furniture etc.) for across the campus. 
3. Inspects electrical systems / office furniture and identifies necessary repairs and takes deemed action.
4. Maintains equipment and tools and ensures that all items and regularly logged and kept safely.
5. Requests department for necessary upgrades, maintenance systems for enhancing the user experience.
6. Visits the vendors and suppliers along with the manger to ensure appreciate material is bought.
7. Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors
