Responsibilities:

Design and implement customized optical test equipment to meet the product functional criteria.
Define test plans as part of the QC to screen out the corresponding optical components functional and reliability acceptable criteria.
Tester bring-up and execute validation tests with written SOP and provide training to operators.
Identify root cause of testing error/failure and provide solutions to mitigate the testing failures.
Perform data analysis and test results summary for presentations to XFN teams. Generate formal test reports as needed.

Requirement:

Minimum MS in Engineering or Physics.
Knowledge of optical metrology instruments/techniques (imaging, colorimeter, spectrometer, profilometer, interferometer, wavefront sensor, etc.).
Experience with hardware testing, system bring up, and design validation, statistical analysis, correlation and GRR.
3 years of experience in development of optical testing equipment from design/prototyping to mass production, and 2 + year of experience in testing of optical components.
Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency with statistical analysis methodologies and tools such as JMP, Minitab and MS Excel.
Experience with manufacturing test requirements in a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
