We are seeking Senior Associate to support GLG’s business in Americas/EMEA, in Gurugram office.
As a Senior Associate, you will be the front-line client service professional, tapping into a diverse network of global experts, sourcing the most suitable candidates for our clients' research endeavours. Your role entails staying updated on industry trends, cultivating relationships with high-level professionals in the field, managing client expectations and excelling in a dynamic environment by efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Senior Associate Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Learning GLG’s business processes and assisting with high-level project execution by identifying and engaging with top-tier professionals capable of providing valuable industry insights
• Learning and upholding our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements.
• Building your understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects.
• Scheduling and confirming critical calls and meetings between GLG’s clients and Network Members
• Proactively engaging with GLG’s Network Members to understand their expertise and gauge their fit-on client projects.
• Recruiting new experts to join GLG’s insight network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods.
• Excel in a dynamic work environment, efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop a working knowledge of various industries to improve project and product service quality
You Will Learn To
• Develop a deep understanding of various industries and sectors through exposure to a diverse range of client projects.
• Learn to tackle complex business problems by applying analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and creative problem-solving techniques.
• Develop strong, transferable business skills, including communication, time management, negotiating, problem solving, project management, research and the ability to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues on and across both regional and global teams to contribute to revenue and broader commercial success.
• Mentoring and guiding GLG Associates on best practices.
Ideal Candidate Have
• Postgraduate / Graduate degree from a top-tier university
• Has minimum 3 years of work experience, ideally in B2B client servicing and business development roles, especially with international EMEA or US-based clients
• Excellent communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person, etc)
• General understanding, awareness and interest in consulting and financial markets
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial/leadership skills.
• Experience interacting with senior executives
• Ability to work effectively independently and/or collaboratively in a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Successful track record of working in a dynamic environment, often accompanied by stringent deadlines
• Flexibility to work in shifts
