The Clinical Medical Record Abstraction/Over-read nurse works under the direction of the HEDIS Clinical Lead and other Client personnel. These home-based positions are responsible for working independently to review, abstract pertinent medical record information, and/or validate accuracy of abstraction in accordance with multiple study criteria. The information to be abstracted will be obtained from medical records copied from physician offices/healthcare facilities and linked in the HEDIS data base used by the nurses for abstraction and over-read. The Abstraction/Over-read nurse must be able to attain an inter-rater reliability score of 95% or higher for the duration of the project. All medical records that are copied or received in the Client HealthCare offices must be kept confidential, in accordance with federal and local requirements, and maintained at the Client HealthCare office.; Other duties as assigned to improve HEDIS rates, including gleaming records for additional information and assisting with sample validation.

Minimum 2yrs HEDIS MRR experience
Knowledgeable of HEDIS Specifications
QSHR experience a plus
