Responsabilities:
- Provide nursing assessment and interventions within the scope of practice of the practitioner.
- Assessment includes obtaining a complete history, performing a physical assessment noting deviations from the norm, and making a nursing assessment.
- Provide emergency response on site at Global Business Center as designated by Site Security and leadership.
- Provide medical surveillance support (testing and tracking) and designated contract employee.
- Provide first aid/initial treatment to Employees and contractors who experience work-related injuries.
- Perform EKG ’s, PFT’s , respirator fit testing, vision testing, audiograms, phlebotomy, glucose testing, urine collection for UA and drug screens as directed.
- Lead and participate in special projects assigned by North America Integrated Health Services Manager and Global Integrated Health Services team.
- Ensure that all NA Integrated Health Services Standards, Guideline, and process are implemented at all sites as appropriate.
- Virtual back-up clinician as needed for the Integrated Health Services for Indianapolis Global Business center and remote sites as directed by North America Integrated Health Services Manager.
Qualifications:
- Five years of Previous Experience
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR Certification required; Instructor Certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent desirable
- CAOHC Certification Course
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, toxicology, health promotion, lifestyle risk factors and ergonomics, especially as related to the occupational environments is essential.
- Specific training in physical skills assessment and in the theory and implementation of specific medical testing as expected.
- Certification in Hearing Conservation and Spirometry is desirable.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG testing is also required. In addition, knowledge of the laws, regulations and standards governing health and safety for employees is necessary. Fin
- Knowledge of the principles of epidemiology, safety, industrial hygiene, wellness, and behavioral change theory.
- Able to use Microsoft tools, Electronic medical record, and general computer use.
- 40 hours/week, with primary work schedule being days, Monday-Sunday. (Local Needs)
