About the role
The Revenue Operations Director is a new role forming a central component of Acast’s Global Business Operations team. In this role, you will act as a Business Partner to Global and Regional Sales and Operations Leadership, providing support and analysis across all elements of Acast commercial activity.
The Revenue Operations Director will work to independently identify business insights, continually improve sales processes, while supporting the implementation of global initiatives across the company as a whole.
What you’ll do
You manage and deliver advanced reporting and analytics requests from internal stakeholders across a range of commercial and operations teams. Your role involves the following key responsibilities:
•Recurring Sales Reports: You assist in developing and implementing recurring sales reports and dashboards to provide insights and track key metrics.
•Identifying Analysis Opportunities: You independently identify areas for analysis to enhance the understanding of sales trends, performance, inventory yield, and the overall effectiveness of the commercial organization.
•Data Accuracy: A critical part of your role is ensuring data consistency by establishing a clear "source of truth" for various key reporting needs, maintaining accuracy across disparate stakeholder groups.
•Data-Driven Insights: You produce, distribute, and present data interpretations to educate sales leadership on best practices and market-specific trends.
In collaboration with local sales leadership, you help set appropriate pricing for products and ensure that rate cards are properly maintained. This involves:
•Pricing Strategy and Analysis: You collaborate on ad hoc pricing requests and analyze the impact of pricing changes on market performance.
Additionally, you analyze historical data to uncover insights about performance trends, seasonality, and other high-level indicators that are important for sales leadership. Your responsibilities also include:
•Salesforce Best Practices: You inform, maintain, and enforce Salesforce best practices within the sales team, continuously working to improve data quality and the effectiveness of downstream reporting deliverables.
•Sales Productivity and Operational Efficiency: You look for opportunities to increase sales productivity and efficiency across all commercial lines of business, driving improvements in day-to-day operations.
•Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Reporting: You generate standard weekly sales forecasts, opportunity pipeline reports, and revenue tracking for executive leadership.
You also play a role in supporting the sales team with operational requests, including:
•Planning and KPI Tracking: This includes annual planning, business reviews, quota setting, and performance KPIs.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you drive strategic initiatives by collaborating with Product, Marketing, Finance, Content Network, and Corporate Development teams. Additionally, you provide:
•Insights for Product Development: You deliver valuable data-driven insights to Product Management and Engineering teams, helping guide development and business investments.
Finally, you oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

•Business Process Development: You have a proven track record of developing standardized business processes and reporting templates for multi-regional sales organizations, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency.
•Advanced GSheet/Excel Expertise: Your advanced proficiency in GSheet/Excel allows you to build models that analyze sales performance, network yield, margin, and other key commercial metrics.
•Experience: With 5 to 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business intelligence, or analytics, you bring a wealth of relevant knowledge and skills.
•Analytical Mindset: You possess a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex sales data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.
•Salesforce Knowledge: You have experience in managing or administering Salesforce or similar CRM systems, optimizing their use within sales organizations.
