Senior Investigations & FIU Reporting Analyst

The Compliance team plays a critical role in shaping the way we ensure regulatory adherence and maintain high standards of operational integrity. To make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Senior Investigations & FIU Reporting Analyst to work in our Compliance team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as our Senior Investigations & FIU Reporting Analyst: 

• Conduct thorough investigations on the back of Internal SARs and initiate internal investigations related to potential money laundering or terrorist financing activities, including complex cases
• Process external SARs using relevant reporting systems, following the prescribed guidelines and required timeframes
• Handle all post-SAR actions and communication with the FNTT/NCA and act as a contact for Law Enforcement in ongoing investigations that commenced from the submitted SAR
• Accurately document investigations and findings, ensuring they align with the established reporting standards and practices
• Conduct regular thematic reviews proactively and as assigned by the Senior FIU Manager. Record the results accordingly and initiate investigations where applicable
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team in the areas of investigations and SAR reporting. Support the Senior FIU Manager in ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of work by the team
• Identify opportunities for improvement, propose automation processes, and report gaps to the Senior FIU Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain open lines of communication with the Senior FIU Manager, providing regular updates on ongoing investigations
• Proactively cooperate with other functions and key stakeholders to ensure that company objectives are achieved

 

You’ll report to our Senior Investigations & FIU Reporting Manager.

 

Here’s what we’d love from our new Senior Investigations & FIU Reporting Analyst: 

• Proficient in Lithuanian and English; excellent English writing skills
• Have 3-5 years of work experience in the compliance area within the reporting and/or investigation units (preferably in banks and/or other financial institutions)
• Experienced in identifying, assessing, investigating, and reporting suspicious activity cases to the FNTT
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and inquisitive mindset
• Strong communication and organisational skills and ability to effectively work across multiple teams and management levels in the organisation

And if you can also do this stuff, even better: 

• ICA or CAMS certificate preferred, but not required
• Experience in reporting suspicious activity to the National Crime Agency is desirable but not required
