Highsnobiety is looking for a Visuals Intern to assist our visuals director and the broader editorial team. The focus of this internship will be working with the global editorial visuals team to execute beautiful stories for the Highsnobiety magazine, .com site, and social platforms. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and interested in the world of luxury fashion and culture.

 

YOUR MISSION:

• Assist Visuals Department in choosing photographers and conceptualizing exciting photo stories for magazine and .com
• Assist Visuals Director in printing and maintaining file archive of editorial shoots
• Help with Web Production including (but not limited to): watermarking images, updating credits, creating file folders for talent and/or external partners
• Potentially photograph for front-of-book social and print stories
• Support as a production assistant on NYC-based shoots
• Perform photo research for various editorial stories (digital and print)
• Perform administrative tasks for the editorial creative department, including processing and organizing invoices
• Maintain the New York HQ studio (EQ / props / lighting / camera gear / etc)

 

YOUR SKILLS:

• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Keen eye for engaging visuals 
• A strong sense of what Highsnobiety represents. You should be plugged into popular culture with awareness of what’s going in in fashion, music, and other elements of Highsnobiety’s landscape
• Currently enrolled in a university program that is linked to journalism, design, marketing, communication (or similar), or are a recent graduate
• Must be local to NYC and authorized to work in the US at least 3 days a week 
• Practical experience and internships in similar companies are a plus

All interns earn a wage of $16 per hour.
