Responsibilities
Vanguard's Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for the technologies and capabilities that deliver the end user experience to our global crew through a mix of both devices and software. We are seeking an engineer passionate about delivering a great experience to users through modern endpoint management tools and practices. Experience with Windows Desktop OS, SCCM, and GPO. Provides intermediate level technical support for small to mid-size projects. Identifies, resolves, or escalates hardware or software issues that span multiple technology domains.
In this Role you will:

Designs, implements, and deploys platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
Provides intermediate level technical support and monitors multiple technology domains/platforms through the use of monitoring tools and applications. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products.
Trains and mentors' staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
Administers systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
