Reporting to the Manager, Transformation Management Office (TMO), the Senior Project Controls Specialist will serve as a resource for implementing project controls methods, procedures, and systems on the Transformation Program.
The area of project controls includes the disciplines of estimating, scheduling/planning, cost control, change management, and progress reporting. This role will also have a large component of integration into the overall Transformation function, including contracts, procurement, quality and risk management.
This role is accountable to the Teck Transformation team for the planning and implementation of effective project controls resources, processes and systems on the program, within the standards set by the TMO Manager and VP of Transformation. This may involve a self-execute approach or one of collaboration with Teck’s contract partners.
