We are seeking an energetic Technical Trainer with strong communication skills to join our team, available as a contractor for 6-9 months. The Technical Trainer will be instrumental in delivering virtual and on-site training sessions for Cloudinary’s customers who are responsible for image and video management efforts in their organizations throughout the world. This role is essential for fulfilling our obligations through new business, supporting growth and expansion in existing accounts, and utilizing a curriculum developed by the Customer Education team, tailored specifically for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Learn how to proficiently use Cloudinary’s various products and answer questions about their capabilities without having to regularly further consult documentation or other information sources
  • Training Delivery: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers on-site or virtually, ensuring they are well-versed in our products, such as Programmable Media and Cloudinary Assets
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with others in Customer Success and other customer-facing departments to learn about our customers’ use cases and challenges with Cloudinary products, to provide meaningful facilitation and instruction
  • Curriculum Adaptation: Utilize and adapt the curriculum developed by the Customer Education team to meet the specific needs of our customers
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple training projects and their associated timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring seamless integration with other Customer Success initiatives for the customers
  • Performance and Impact Assessment: Assist Customer Success leadership in measuring the impact of training sessions in terms of product adoption and usage with actionable feedback to optimize curriculum and instruction for future delivery, as well as Product roadmap development suggestions.

About You:

  • You have proven experience in a technical training role for software products with delivery to a wide range of users with varying levels of product knowledge and technical expertise
  • You possess excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in the English language, with the ability to translate complex technical information into engaging and easy-to-understand instruction
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excel at working cross-functionally with various stakeholders
  • You have a strong understanding of e-learning platforms and technologies, as well as adult learning methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • You are willing to travel to customer locations for training sessions and can navigate cultural differences and tailor sessions to diverse audiences (It is a plus, not required).
