<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are looking for highly motivated coaches to deliver aspects of our successful 'Premier League Primary Stars' programme, including the delivery of PE and extra-curricular clubs to primary schools based in Wandsworth and Lambeth. You will join a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, making a real impact on the lives of children in South London.<strong><strong></strong></strong><br></p><p><strong><strong><br></strong></strong></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible hours (minimum 1 hour per week, with potential to rise);</li><li>London Living Wage salary (£13.15 - £20 per hour depending on qualification or responsibility);</li><li>Training and development opportunities;</li><li>Potential to work across different departments across a variety of different sessions;</li><li>Become part of a friendly and dedicated team;</li><li>Work with the official charity of a Premier League football club;</li><li>An opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in South London.</li></ul><p><strong><strong><br></strong></strong></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>As a sessional Football Coach you will:</p><ul><li>Plan and deliver creative, active and engaging PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs to children in Wandsworth and Lambeth Primary Schools;<br></li><li>Plan and deliver various 'PL Primary Stars' sessions including targeted intervention groups, classroom workshops, social action programmes and teacher PE support lessons;</li><li>Form positive relationships with all key partners involved in the programme including schools, teachers and parents;<br></li><li>Work collaboratively with the Primary Education team, fellow coaches and other Foundation staff to ensure smooth delivery and growth of our programmes;<br></li><li>Work alongside the Foundation's Football Development team with opportunities to coach at Player Development Centres;</li><li>Support at a variety of events throughout the year, including school tournaments and festivals, and holiday courses out of school term.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong><br></p><p>As successful candidate you will:<br></p><ul><li>Have experience coaching in a primary school environment, with a proven track record of achievement;</li><li>Be an FA or UEFA-qualified coach at Level 2 / UEFA C or above;</li><li>Have sound sports development and/or school education knowledge;<br></li><li>Be able to empathise with and give support to participants who may not feel comfortable in learning or sports-related environments;</li><li>Be reliable, organised, flexible and willing to learn;</li><li>Be available to work at clubs after school hours and ideally some holiday work.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Closing Date:</strong> Rolling Applications</p><p><strong>Interview Date:</strong> Arranged as applications received</p><p> </p><p><strong>Safeguarding</strong></p><p>Crystal Palace Football Club is committed to safeguarding and ensuring the welfare and protection of children, young people and adults at risk.
