Betsson Group is seeking a motivated senior leader to join the Global CRM & Engagement department and head the CRM Onboarding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an amazing team of CRM enthusiasts.
In this role, reporting directly to the Director of CRM & VIP, you will collaborate closely with local Managing Directors and marketing teams to design offers that attract new customers and convert sign-ups into first-time depositors.
You will oversee all Welcome Offers and player communications for newly registered customers across multiple Betsson Group brands, markets, and products. Your success will be measured by your impact on conversion rates from registration to first deposit and revenue from new customers.
THE CHALLENGE:
You will definitely be busy! Here is a taste of what you will be involved with:
Leadership:
- Lead and manage the CRM Onboarding team, setting clear performance goals and ensuring team members have the necessary resources and knowledge to achieve them.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting collaboration and a results-driven work environment.
- Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to help each team member grow and reach their full potential.
Strategy & Implementation:
- Partner with local MDs and marketing teams to design competitive, appealing Welcome Offers tailored to each product and market, maximising customer acquisition and conversion opportunities.
- Ensure global and local sponsorship deals are integrated across all CRM touchpoints of the customer onboarding experience.
- Oversee the implementation of offers and communications across all CRM channels with a focus on optimising landing pages to improve conversion rates.
- Develop a contact strategy for converting newly registered players via the Telesales channel.
Budget Management:
- Take full ownership, manage, and optimise the CRM spend budget investment of all Welcome Offers and offers aimed at new customers.
Analysis & Optimisation:
- Continuously review offers to ensure they drive positive revenue from new customers and are secure from manipulation or abuse that could drive up costs.
- In collaboration with local MDs and analytics, adjust or discontinue any unprofitable or vulnerable offers. Lead the team in swiftly identifying ineffective campaigns during testing phases to minimize budget waste.
Ownership & Compliance:
- Review and approve all offers and communications before they go live to customers, ensuring that each activity is set-up correctly and comply with local regulations in each jurisdiction. In this role you are responsible and accountable for all activities and budget investment made by the CRM Onboarding team.
On-call:
In addition to standard working hours, you will also work on a roster along with other ‘Head of CRM’ colleagues to provide after-hours support on any campaign incidents which may require additional system approval or decisions on wider customer compensation.
YOU ARE GOOD AT:
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding team members to achieve high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of player bonuses and incentives.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for CRM activities across all of Betsson’s jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to interpret CRM data and derive actionable insights.
- Genuine interest in the online casino and poker sector and sportsbook betting products.
- Minimum of 8 years’ CRM experience, ideally from a similar role in the iGaming industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Experience working in a multi-brand and multi-jurisdiction environment.
EXTRA AWESOME:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Latvian, Polish, or one of the Scandinavian languages is a significant plus.
