General Duties:
- Acting under the direct authority of the Maintenance Manager or designated representative, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all Production Equipment, Customer Owned Tooling, company owned tooling, and Auxiliary Equipment necessary to maintain production (e.g. Hi-Lo, Compressors, etc...)
- The Maintenance Technician shall perform the following duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and with the requirements of IATF 16949:2016.
Specific Duties: - Maintains work place and equipment ensuring a cost effective and safe work environment
- Maintenance and preventative maintenance of all equipment
- Maintenance of all company or customer owned tooling
- Maintenance and preventative maintenance of all auxiliary equipment
- All Routine Building Maintenance
- Monitoring of shop supplies and misc. inventories
- Provide support to all other departments
- Monitoring of all equipment ensuring continuing proper operation
- Participate in the installation of new equipment including support equipment and tooling
- Participate in the fabrication of new designs and improvements to current designs, tooling and equipment
- Follow the predictive maintenance program
Knowledge Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and the company quality policy, procedures and process maps
- Knowledge of general plant operation
- Basic safety (when working on equipment)
- Ability to operate plant equipment
- Basic electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics
- Machining, Fabricating & Welding skills
- Basic PLC knowledge and trouble shooting
- An understanding of chemical processing and the ability to trouble shoot it
- Lock out/Tag out
- Understanding of MSDS
- Safe chemical handling
Minimum Qualifications: - This position requires 3 to 4 years experience in Maintenance.
- Hi-Lo License required.
