We are looking for a skilled <strong>Product Engineer</strong> to join our Product Engineering team, which holds technical responsibility across our product lines, with a particular focus on Evac’s innovative <strong>HydroTreat</strong> system—a groundbreaking hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) solution for transforming waste into valuable biochar.</p><p>Reporting to the Manager of Product Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Evac’s business through product development and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Product Development:</strong> Participate in product development projects, ensuring meticulous documentation and technical handling.</li><li><strong>Technical Ownership:</strong> Assume technical responsibility for wet waste treatment products, supporting product improvements and updates to meet evolving standards.</li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Drive ongoing enhancements of standard systems to optimize efficiency and performance.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration:</strong> Engage with internal and external partners—including lead product engineers, product line managers, sales, project delivery teams, and sourcing—to deliver cost-competitive, high-quality products on time.</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Educational Background:</strong> M.Sc. or B.Sc. in process, mechanical, or chemical engineering with several years of relevant experience.</li><li><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong> Strong knowledge of process equipment such as pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.</li><li><strong>System-Level Thinking:</strong> Ability to see and optimize the product system as a cohesive whole.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Proven background in product development, product management, and/or project engineering.</li><li><strong>Tools:</strong> Basic understanding of PDM/PLM tools.</li><li><strong>Language Proficiency:</strong> Full proficiency in English.</li><li><strong>Flexibility:</strong> Willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers and onboard vessels.</li><li><strong>Personal Attributes:</strong> Proactive, well-organized, and a collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.</li><li><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong> Knowledge in wet waste treatment and/or hydrothermal treatment systems is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join Evac?</strong><br>At Evac, you’ll have the opportunity to work with forward-thinking solutions that make a measurable impact on the environment.
