Our team mission is to provide comprehensive technical support to inventors, tailoring our support to match their specific needs. In response to the inventive endeavors of our clients, inventors, we expertly combine Woven City's technologies and services to offer optimal solutions. Whether it's crafting proposals aligned with inventors' PoC goals or accelerating their development and enhancements, we run alongside them, providing integral technical support. Also capturing the needs of inventors, we collaborate internally with Woven City developers to enhance our technologies and services. This collaborative approach ensures that we not only exceed the expectations of our inventive community, fostering a dynamic and innovative work environment within our team.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Customer Engineer, Solution Architect for customer inventors, In this role, you will collaborate with our clients, Inventors, to design and implement the latest solutions tailored to their needs and you’ll assist fellow teammates / teams by solving important technical issues for our customers. You will need to have technical, communication, and problem-solving skills to excel in this position. You will report to the function manager, and this is a hybrid work style role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Woven Inventor Garage value using techniques to include whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations and documents.
- Work with customers (Inventors) to comprehend their needs, explore opportunities from the technical perspective, collaboratively resolve technical impediments, design and develop customized solutions, and apply Agile development practices to ensume high-quality deliverables.
- Design / implement data processing, data analysis to provide insights and continuous improvement for the solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to plan requirements, set high-levelel schedules and milestones, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners both across the company and externally.
- Responsible for the success of the task force project in charge.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in software development in any language and Agile practices.
- Excellent project management, organizational and communication skills, especially the ability to build good relationships with external stakeholders.
- 1+ years of experience in consultancy work to propose technical solutions based on actual customer facing problems
- Experience identifying product fit/gap based on customer requirements and negotiating with product teams to add new features or make changes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, displaying strong verbal and written presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to tailor key narrative and presentation styles to multiple audiences.
- Proficiency in business level English and Japanese language.
NICE TO HAVES:
- 5+ years of experience in data utilization and strong data analysis knowledge and skills.
- 2+ years of experience leading new product/service development projects.
- Fundamental understanding of security and privacy principles.
- Experience in new business development, solution architecture, or customer success.
- Entrepreneurial experience, including starting one's own business.
