POSITION SUMMARY
This part-time Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor will play a vital role in educating and training apprentices in electrical theory and practices. Utilizing the Mike Holt curriculum, the instructor will provide hands-on instruction and foster a positive learning environment for students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Teach electrical apprenticeship courses using the Mike Holt curriculum, covering topics such as electrical theory, codes, safety practices, and practical applications.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices, encouraging their professional development.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom and lab environment.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the educational program.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and technologies relevant to electrical work.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Journeyman electrician or higher certification with significant field experience required.
