B2B TechPro includes TechRadar Pro, IT Pro and Tech Software (currently focused on Antivirus and VPN). Future’s wider B2B portfolio includes Smartbrief, AV Tech, M&E, and Tech & Learning.

We're now looking for a Staff Writer to join ITPro to support ITPro’s editorial news and wider content strategy.

What you’ll be doing…

As Staff Writer for ITPro, you'll use knowledge of tech industry, strategy and competition/industry to continuously create exciting and engaging news-driven content across multiple platforms and distribution channels. You'll ensure the brand position and editorial voice for news content remains key - and, in particular, in line with Future’s ESG around fake news/content and misinformation, and work with management, tech, development and audience teams to develop the most compelling news opportunities for IT Pro/B2B with a focus on your given area of coverage/expertise.

You'll also support the editor and other stakeholders with the effective creation and delivery of commercial partnerships through high-trafficked content as and when required, and assist with reactive and proactive ideas generation that is both news related and news adjacent to the benefit of our audience and commercial partners.

• Excellent writing skills.
• Fantastic communication, research and interviewing skills.
• The ability to lead by example and play a key role in the successful planning and execution of content strategy.
• Drive and a keenness to develop yourself into a high-performing individual writer and as part of a content-driven team.
• Communicate effectively with other writers and senior management.
• Be able to work using your own initiative and collaboratively with the team and other stakeholders/brands to build and maintain a successful B2B division.

The expected range for this role is £24,000 - £28,000.
