About the Job:
The Software Engineer researches, designs, builds and maintains innovative solutions incorporating state-of-the-art capabilities for the US Department of Defence..

In this role, you will work with a small, elite team of highly dedicated engineers and scientists to apply cutting-edge algorithms to real-world problems. We are seeking candidates with proven abilities in developing innovative solutions who are particularly interested in working on state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare and Signal Intelligence capabilities.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Exceptional software development skills in C++ at expert level
Ability to review and analyze source code
Strong academic training in Software Engineering and Computer Science fundamentals.
Stellar communication skills (both technical details and high-level conceptual ideas).
Enjoys collaborating with small and dedicated development teams.
US Citizen

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

Deep, Hands on expert level experience in software engineering using C++
Knowledge of modern development practices (Agile, object-oriented programming, test-driven development, microservices).
Ability to understand RF data feeds
Ability to review previous repository of source code
Understanding of Signals Intelligence and Software Defined Radio technology

What You'll Get to Do:

Evaluate candidate technologies and standards to implement solutions.
Design and integrate software modules and components.
Rapidly prototype testbeds to support development.
Implement, test, and maintain customer-facing applications.
Participate in Agile planning and development of new features and system maintenance.

Education

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or other technical degree. MS preferred.
