You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Your Responsibilities and Skills:</strong><br></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Editing Style Mimicry: </strong>Ability to mimic existing <em>Reacts</em> editing styles and innovate techniques.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Team Collaboration: </strong>Applying feedback from the team to optimise video retention, and offering insights into areas of improvement.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Cuts, Flow, and Tempo Mastery: </strong>A firm understanding of cuts, flow, and variation in tempo to retain viewer engagement. A keen eye for detail, minimising “Dead Space” in reaction segments. Particular focus on the first 30s of a video, ensuring seamless transition into unfolding content.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Music Utilization: </strong>Utilizing music effectively, and understanding the use of different genres/BPM (beats per minute) to match visual pacing. Seamless transitioning between music and balancing audio levels to ensure optimal viewing experiences across PC, mobile and TV platforms.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Analytic Outlook: </strong>Understanding what causes a video to overindex and perform below typical based on editing technique, following feedback to align New and Returning Viewer retention.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>SFX Implementation: </strong>Capable of effectively utilizing sound effects (SFX), knowing when and where to integrate these for narrative impact and comedic effect.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Visual Effects Integration: </strong>Employing supportive VFX to elevate quality and exaggerate key emotions from Talent. Overlaying facecam with an awareness of clarity, ensuring equal focus on talent and source footage.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Time Management: </strong>Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality videos, while applying feedback on drafts.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Communication: </strong>Ensuring top level communication is maintained, utilizing tools such as Monday.com and Discord to collaborate with the team.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr"><strong>Creative Flair: </strong>Staying up to date with the latest trends in the <em>Reacts</em> and wider YouTube community, as well as current culture references.
