About this role
You'll be an integral part of Udemy’s Monetization team, managing a critical function of the Marketing organization. In this role, you’ll help develop promotions strategy while owning the promotions workflow, leading initiatives and experimentation across our global portfolio of courses. The work you complete will have a direct contribution to Udemy’s monetization strategy and Consumer business performance.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement marketplace promotions strategies in conjunction with other members of Udemy’s Pricing & Promotions team:
- Own the global promotional campaign calendar for the company
- Lead campaign strategy and kickoffs to ensure cross-functional teams are properly briefed and set up for success
- Align internal stakeholders on strategy, goals, and desired outcomes for various promotions
- Conduct analysis of user behavior, conversion funnel, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to understand efficacy of various promotional strategies and identify opportunities for optimization
- A/B Testing & Experimentation:
- Plan, design, and implement A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional tactics, channels, and user flows.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to inform future testing and optimization efforts.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools and platforms to track, measure, and report on KPIs
- Help drive our team’s understanding of marketplace dynamics & performance drivers across diverse geographies, course categories and customer segments
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to implement optimization strategies, improve user experience, and enhance promotional functionality.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and data analytics
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL or analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau & Mode
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
