We are currently seeking a talented: Senior infrastructure technologies engineer
You will be joining Evewest organisation in exiting period when we are defining the future by selecting and adopting modern technologies.
Your responsibilities:
- Your day-to-day responsibility will be to maintain, design and implement IT infrastructure of the organization.
- Your day will consist of requests and engineering activities where you will be keeping systems stable and constantly improving the situation.
- You will achieve this by using various classical and modern technologies- managing systems via UI and using GitOps practices; on-premises, hosted and in the public clouds.
- You always must have security in mind, all-around.
- We need you to oversee the resolution of complex technical issues and provide escalated support.
- We expect that you continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve IT operations and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies management based on Windows Server and preferably Linux servers.
- Experience in infrastructure automation like Terraform, Ansible, Chef
- Strong skills in PowerShell scripting and very good if you know Python for automation
- Experience in Hyper-V hypervisor management
- Experience working with cloud platforms AWS and Azure or at least some services.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware one of vendors: HPE, Cisco, Dell or similar.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies. Docker or Kubernetes experience is advantage.
- In-depth understanding of network architecture, protocols and security.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Skills to write technical documentation.
- Familiar with ITIL practices and Scrum.
We offer:
Base monthly salary: 3400€ - 4400€ (before tax). The specific salary can be negotiated and offered depending on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed, and suitability to the position's requirements.
