The Role

Join us as a Senior Software Development Manager and play a crucial role in launching our SAAS offering for the secrets lifecycle management product. You will lead the development of core SLM functionalities and expand our capabilities to include a diverse range of secret types. Our mission is to provide our customers with significantly enhanced security while simplifying and reducing dependency on human-managed secrets.  You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based software using modern orchestration technologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate your technical leadership, manage a diverse team, and overcome cloud-scale challenges to deliver a top-tier platform system.

What You’ll Do

• Leadership & Management: Direct and manage a focused engineering team, ensuring alignment with company goals and efficient resource allocation.
• Strategic Development: Oversee the development of product components or features, maintaining alignment with the overall strategy and managing technical complexities.
• Operational Excellence: Foster an adaptive, agile culture; support the team in delivering secure, scalable solutions; and drive operational improvements for customer support excellence.
• Team Development & Mentorship: Continuously improve team performance and quality, recruit top talent, and mentor team members for their growth in technical, product, and interpersonal skills.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, ensuring team alignment with organizational objectives and building cross-functional partnerships.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering and supporting enterprise-ready cloud-based systems.
• Solid Understanding of modern design patterns.
• Experience with the full development lifecycle, including product release in an agile environment.
• Experience working on an Agile team in a continuous integration and development environment.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Expertise in Golang, Java, C#, or other modern programming languages.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Currently developing API services and working with scalable microservices architectures.
• Prior experience working with public cloud providers: AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. 
• Prior experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategies.
• Understand automated testing practices (unit, e2e, integration, smoke).
