We are currently seeking a Hose Fabric Technician in Northborough, MA.
The Hose Fabric Technician performs a variety of duties to fabricate, assemble, and maintain close tolerances on hose assemblies, butyrate pipe assemblies, and hose kits following established procedures. This position monitors the hose shop production schedule and maintains accountability for meeting delivery and production requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Sort hose shop pick tickets and file by customer and require dates
- Assemble hose orders using customer prints, verbal instruction, or pick ticket information, including walk in hose orders
- Operate material handling equipment (including forklifts and pallet jacks) and various hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, such as cutoff saws, drill press, and measuring devices for close tolerance measurements and hose assembly equipment
- Pull all material for hose orders from warehouse inventory following the warehouse processes for order picking and shipment of product
- Inspect all hoses to insure they meet quality requirements and manufacturing specs
- Record and file all inspection and test information in an orderly manner
- Collaborate with inside sales on any order problems or revisions
- Keep all customer drawing files up to date to ensure hose assemblies are built to current revisions and customer delivery dates are met
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized condition
- Detect and report equipment malfunctions, unusual situations, or other problems to the supervisor
- Perform related duties as needed

What We Need from You:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- High School or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 80lbs without issues
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and practices
