Role: Group Account Director - Data and Insights 

Location: Mumbai / Gurgaon

Work Set-up: Hybrid

 

About the role:

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media intelligence strategy to drive business growth and protect brand reputation. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social intelligence command center, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize media performance.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media measurement strategies to monitor brand health, identify emerging trends, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Translate complex social, media, and performance data into actionable insights for key stakeholders, including leadership, product marketing, account management, creative, planning, and media teams.
  • Distil complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee social media initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), create insightful reports, and drive data-driven optimizations.
  • Conduct in-depth social listening to uncover audience insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends.
  • Lead relationships with various social media agencies and partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and analytics.
  • Launch, run, and maintain a social intelligence command centre.
  • Management of escalation and crisis framework for the organization.

 

What you need to be great in this role:

We seek a data-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for social media. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of the digital landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional data visualisation and storytelling abilities to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, advertising, and measurement and listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Experience in developing and executing social media measurement frameworks.
  • A proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent project management, time management, and interpersonal skills.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing and analytics with a strong emphasis on social media.
  • Proven experience in managing and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Expertise in social media listening and crisis management tools.
