Who You Are
This position will be a Remote role, and you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and through our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work together to accomplish Base8's goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes having attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to a variety of situations.
We are looking for a flexible person that can help us fill some gaps in our marketing team, someone with a strong grasp of both the technical and creative aspects of digital marketing. Your primary responsibility will be managing our email marketing campaigns, where we target a variety of audiences with a variety of different messages. We're looking for someone to take ownership of these campaigns, understand our audiences, track and report on performance, and increase the number of people you reach and the total number of conversions.
In addition, we'd like you to own our ad efforts, which we have been testing on and off with mixed results and attempt to boost conversions on our websites.
Ideal skillset
• B2B marketing background
• Email marketing & digital advertising experience
o Optimizing for conversions
o Segmenting and managing audiences
o Planning, creating, monitoring, and optimizing many different campaigns at once
o Knowledgeable of the technical aspects of email marketing - avoiding spam filters, warming up addresses, etc.
o Know how and when to use both HTML emails and plain text sales emails
o Experience with LinkedIn and Meta ad platforms
• Website conversion optimization
o Understand audiences and traffic sources
o Track user experience on the site
o Optimize conversion, time on site, scroll depth, # of pages visited
o Implement and test popups and other methods of gathering leads and contacts
• Coordinate with sales to ensure all leads are followed up on
• Experience with HubSpot
• Experience with Google Analytics
