Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

We're on the lookout for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance Property team!

·       Job Title – Senior Commercial Finance Analyst 

·       Location – Bury Head Office (BL9 8RR)

·       Working rota – Mon-Fri

·       Working hours – Full time

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Property Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll be doing the following: 

• You'll be supporting the Head of Property Commercial Finance and working across all Group fascia and territories.
• You'll be assisting preparation of new store appraisals including Income Statement performance and return on investment measures to be presented in monthly property board meetings.
• You'll be posting opening assessment & reporting of performance, & variance analysis.
• You'll be preparing financial appraisals prior to major refurbishment works.
• You'll be providing store performance data & analytics to assist in strategic property decision making.
• You'll be improving efficiency and effectiveness of financial modelling.
• Ad hoc analysis & reporting (ie. sales transfer, competitor impacts) and scenario modelling.

What We're Looking For:

• Part-Qualified/Qualified accountant – Dependant on Experience.
• Previous exposure to Management Accounts.
• Previous experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Must have a sound grasp of the key commercial drivers of store performance.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent Excel modelling skills.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy
