As an Automotive Buyer Executive, you will be our enthusiastic inspector and will be responsible for explaining to our clients what they need to know about the car and the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the inbound flow of leads to support the company & sales objectives by qualifying the leads and booking appointments
- Inspect cars and reports needed repairs
- Examine cars for damage, and drives vehicle to detect malfunctions
- Test vehicle components for wear, damage, or improper adjustment, using mechanical or electrical devices
- Prepare report on each vehicle
- Communicate effectively to manage clients’ expectations to ensure they receive a great service.
- Search for good quality and secure deals for profitable onward sale
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
- Strong communication skills will ensure that the day-to-day operation of the team is smooth and efficient in order to achieve maximum output and potential
- Meeting or exceeding performance targets stipulated by your line manager
- Meeting weekly and monthly sales KPIs (value and volume)
- Communicate effectively regarding inspections
- Solve regular customer issues, and navigate through hard situations through proper negotiations and relationship building
Requirements
- High School Diploma / Faculty degree / Car Mechanics or Equivalent
- Experience with car inspection
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in the automobile field is ideal however similar industries may be considered e.g. mechanics
- Must have a Car + Valid driver license
- Practical understanding of automobile engineering and mechanics
- Results driven and team player but able to work independently
- Reliable, resourceful, approachable, and discreet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills / Telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a target driven company
- Hard-negotiator, deal maker
