Position: Electrical Designer Sr-175678
Eligibility Criteria:
Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in cable or cable harness design in Semiconductor Equipment or other Capital equipment industry
Primary Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining medium complex interconnect, its cable assembly drawings and Bill of Materials based on requirements of Lam Products
Propose OEM components and materials for cable design.
Demonstrate attention to detail and exhibit high quality in engineering documentation and expected to highlight low-high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project/task execution.
Advice/Consult supplier during product development phase to translate detailed engineering requirements into specifications, collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams for problem solving and design verification/validation.
Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules and implement process improvements as necessary.
Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.
Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:
Experience working in cable harness, Schematics and Interconnect using an of the electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 Zuken, E-plan, Ideas or PCAD (3D Cable Harness) or any similar CAD package
Knowledge on selection of OEM Components, cable accessories and perform alternate component search.
Knowledge on relevant design standards and compliance like UL 508, IEC Standard, SEMI standard (Electrical), IPC 620 etc.
Knowledge on design for manufacturability in cable design
Desirable Skill:
Knowledge on industrial control panel design
Exposure to Semi-conductor industry related Engineering activities
Exposure to Engineering Change Management
