HSE Supervisor

The company’s products and services cater to a wide range of applications in the oil and gas industry, offering integrated platform solutions for oil and gas production and measurement systems, flow-treatment systems, surface wellhead systems, flow metering products and systems, among others. They are headquartered in London, England, the UK.

Scope of work

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within our teams and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in alignment with company standards and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Provide training and support to employees on HSE best practices, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports and documentation, ensuring accurate records are kept for audits and reviews.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
• Act as a role model for safety, promoting awareness and commitment to HSE principles across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in HSE management, preferably in the oil and gas or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to conduct training sessions and deliver effective presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable.
