Content Writing at Sesame
The Marketing Team at Sesame is seeking a talented and dedicated Medical Content Writer to join a successful and established team of writers and medical content reviewers.  To be successful in the role, you should have experience with medical writing for a non-clinical audience on a variety of topics. We would like to see samples that demonstrate your ability to turn complex medical information into engaging, easy-to-digest content.

If you are someone who is meticulous, has attention to detail, is autonomous, and commits to producing high-quality, accurate content, we would love to hear from you!  This role has both breadth and depth.  You will cover various topics related to medications, medical conditions, diseases, and laboratory tests.  This role features collaboration with medical professionals and the SEO team to ensure that the content is medically accurate and follows the latest SEO guidelines and best practices, enhancing its reach and impact. 

Your contribution will produce immediate reach and impact. This is a remote work position (if outside of NYC or Boston; or may utilize our NYC or Boston offices) that is required to work on East Coast hours.

The Role:

  • Create compelling and succinct health-focused content that resonates with a non-clinical audience.
  • Analyze and distill key elements from research papers and clinical study results for relevant insights and data
  • Translate complex clinical concepts and medical jargon into accessible, easy-to-understand, empathetic and inclusive language for the general public
  • Ensure content is factually accurate, up-to-date, and complies with relevant guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with medical providers to verify the clinical accuracy and reliability of all written content
  • Manage your workload effectively and autonomously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality without constant supervision
  • Leverage the most recent SEO standards and recommended best practices
  • Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate our content offerings, aligning with the latest health trends and research findings
  • Develop content that not only informs but also engages the audience, fostering a connection and making a real impact on people’s lives
