Currently, we are seeking a forward-thinking Test Developer to become an integral part of our esteemed pro-audio team. In this role, you will forge close partnerships with the Engineering, Operations and Product teams, collectively charting the course for our innovative endeavours.

What you'll be doing:

As a valued member of our growing Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Hardware and Firmware Development teams to support our Quality Assurance team in understanding product requirements and designing test plans accordingly. You will help develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to validate hardware functionality, firmware performance and system integrations.

In your role you will design and implement test fixtures, setups and hardware/firmware testing, execute both automated and manual testing, analyte results and identify areas of improvement, debug hardware/firmware issues, work closely with Development teams to identify causes of problems and implement solutions.

Furthermore, you will play a vital role in documenting test procedures, results and findings ensuring traceability and reproducibility. You will continuously improve test automation frameworks and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and ensure you will be up to date with industry trends in hardware/firmware testing and python scripting.

An ideal candidate is likely to:

• be proficient with Python scripting for test automation and analysis, Matlab is a plus,
• be experienced with hardware testing methodologies, including test fixtures design,
• analysis and debugging,
• be familiar with firmware development tools and languages, such as C/C++,
• have an understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols (e.g, UART, SPI, I2C, USB),
• have excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details.
