Job Summary
Would you like to apply your skills in an innovative production facility? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Molding Operator! This position will be based out of our New Automated Injection Molding plant located in Pineville, NC. Reporting to Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate Molding presses and related equipment for the purposes of fittings production. These activities are to be conducted while ensuring and maximizing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals.

- 12-hour rotating shift (Working 4 on 4 off; 84 hours bi-weekly) with bi-weekly pay
Job Responsibilities
- Introduce and remove regrind from a press during production.
- Start-up and shutdown all production presses.
- Identify, clear and trouble shoot all alarms.
- Operate all dryers, thermolators, heaters, etc.
- Set up and operate feed system for each press.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with all Molding equipment.
- Check runner and stem alignment.
- Adjust improve product quality such as removing blush, splay, flash, short shots and resolving dimensional issues.
- Adjust process to improve on cycle time.
- Identify any non-conformance or unknown conditions and assist in the corrective actions as required per Supervisor guidance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge and Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of age plus completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and operate a forklift.
- Successful candidate must complete a background check and drug screening.
Working conditions
- Requires a high degree of mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, and lifting to 50-75 lbs.
- Fast-paced environment where a considerable amount of sensory attention is required.
- Personal safety is affected by exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise levels and the use of sharp tools.
