The Role

iDeals reached 450+ employees across 25+ locations, and keeps expanding globally. To fuel this exciting journey, we seek a seasoned People Operations Expert / Senior HR Manager to empower our Ukrainian team (our largest at 60% of headcount!) and champion our company culture of care.

Schedule: flexible, full-time remote from Kyiv or Lviv to stay close to our main office locations.

In this critical role, you'll be a business partner and go-to person on all people-related matters, ensuring high-quality HR solutions to support the well-being, productivity, and engagement of our Ukrainian team. You'll provide expert guidance on local complexities and navigate all people-related matters effectively. What You Will Do

  • Provide Expert Support During Challenging Times: Unwaveringly support Ukrainian team members, and address concerns related to the war, conscription, and other local dynamics with your in-depth knowledge.
  • Champion Exceptional Employee Experiences: Oversee all stages of the employee journey, from a smooth onboarding process to a smooth offboarding experience, fostering a culture of engagement and care.
  • Guide Managers Through Sensitive Situations: Equip managers with the necessary skills to conduct termination conversations with respect, care, and compliance.
  • Lead Operational Efficiency: Oversee administrative operations, organize events (from the annual Sales & Marketing conference to executive team meetup, and team-building activities), and cover daily HR requests within expected SLAs.
  • Develop Policies Expertise: Develop clear, compliant policies and procedures that are easy to understand and implement.
  • Streamline HR Operations: Maintain our HRIS and other HR tech. Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency.

What We Look For

  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian is necessary for building trust within our diverse team
  • Passionate and adaptable leader with a proven track record (5+ years) in HR, Operations, or a similar role
  • Experience in project and crisis management
  • Hands-on HR budget forecasting and management experience
  • Experience in administrative and event management

Nice To Have

  • Leadership experience
  • International expertise, working with HR matters across multiple countries
  • Previous training in mediation or conflict resolution 
  • Experience with ticketing systems and HR service SLAs
Our Interview Process

We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it's like to work at iDeals and the type of tasks you'll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:

• Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (60 mins)
• Tech interview with the Hiring Manager (60 mins)
• Test task (~3 hours)
• Hiring Manager interview (2 hours)
