Plant Controller
Location: North Atlanta, GA
Salary: Up to $100,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Controller with multi-site experience to join our dynamic team in North Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial position, with extensive experience in implementing and maintaining Standard Costing systems. This role requires a high level of financial competence and the ability to manage P&L, Balance Sheet, budgets, capital expenditure, and develop and analyze business cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of multiple plant locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Standard Costing Systems: Implement and maintain Standard Costing systems to improve cost efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and budgets, to senior management.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
- Capital Expenditure: Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring they are financially viable and align with strategic business goals.
- Business Case Development: Develop and analyze business cases to support decision-making processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support business changes, providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and overall business performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial position.
- Proven experience in the implementation and maintenance of Standard Costing systems.
- High level of financial competence, with experience in management of P&L, Balance Sheet, budgets, capital expenditure, and development/analysis of business cases.
- Hands-on and prepared to be part of the team to support business changes.
- Assertiveness, exceptional work ethic, integrity, and a continuous-improvement orientation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
