HVAC/Refrigeration Instructor (Evening, $32.50)

Orleans Technical College is a post-secondary school that provides career and technical education to help individuals from all walks of life move toward one common goal: learning new skills to enhance success in the workforce.

The HVAC/Refrigeration Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating.

 

This role is on-site at Orleans Technical College, Northeast Philadelphia, and is part time.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Prepare lesson plans

• Keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day

• Maintain student attendance and grade rosters

 

This position is part-time, 2 evenings per week, 5:30pm-10pm.

Part-time instructor pay rate is $32.50

Qualifications:

•  3 – 5 years related work experience required
•  Strong communication skills
•  Excellent customer service skills

 

 

The base pay for this position will start at $32.50/hr. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
