Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead & Drive Performance: Propel your team to achieve monthly KPIs and targets
  • Track & Communicate Results: Keep everyone informed of sales goals and achievements
  • Develop & Train: Identify areas for improvement and deliver effective training and coaching
  • Manage Attendance & Engagement: Improve team commitment and performance
  • Retain Top Talent: Implement wellness and engagement initiatives to minimize attrition
  • Motivate & Inspire: Keep your team energized and striving for success
  • Support Disciplinary Actions: Handle misconduct matters, issue corrective documents, and chair hearings
  • Foster Open Communication: Maintain constant interaction with your team members
  • Assess & Implement Interventions: Observe and measure performance, then act accordingly
  • Support Sales Stages: Guide your team through sales processes and assist with client escalations
  • Report: Provide detailed weekly/daily reports to key stakeholders
  • Develop Your Team: Use motivation, counselling, and education to build product knowledge
  • Forecast Sales: Provide accurate sales predictions
  • Resolve Complaints: Handle and resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Devise Strategies: Create sales techniques that boost performance
  • Collaborate: Work with other departments to ensure sales team success

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 2-3 years' experience managing a team of telesales agents within the telecommunications sector.
  • Proven B2B sales experience within the telecommunications industry ideally in a call centre environment
  • Experience in closing medium to large business deals.
  • Skilled in negotiating deals at the executive level
