Direct Agents is seeking an ambitious New Business Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate is bursting with energy and enthusiasm and an unrelenting drive to break records, grow their own book of business, and advance their career and earnings in a fast paced environment.
THE ROLE
Sales Prospecting
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target industries and companies that can benefit from Direct Agents' services.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to search for and engage with new business opportunities within the digital marketing sector.
- Identify and reach out to appropriate Marketing Executives within target companies.
- Craft and send personalized outreach emails and messages to potential clients.
- Secure introductory calls with identified Marketing Executives to discuss potential collaborations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified leads for further nurturing and closing.
- Follow through with each lead by creating proposals, keeping the pipeline organized, and assisting in pushing deals through to close.
Research & Insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and insights to better identify potential clients and understand their needs.
- Attend and actively participate in conferences and industry events to enhance your industry knowledge, as well as Direct Agents' visibility and network with potential clients.
Reporting & Organization
- Efficiently manage and track leads using Pipedrive CRM, ensuring that all relevant data is up-to-date and organized.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities within Pipedrive, ensuring accurate recording of statuses and details.
- Provide detailed weekly reports on lead generation metrics using advanced analytics tools.
DESIRED BACKGROUND
2-3+ Years of Professional Experience
- You’ve successfully navigated the realm of sales or marketing for at least 2-3 years, demonstrating your ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and drive tangible results. Your experience reflects your dedication to the art of relationship building and achieving targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales outreach tools.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Experience in digital media or technology sales is a plus.

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.
