Plan IT Group is is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to develop components of an advanced geospatial processing system. As part of the Geospatial Technology group within the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line of Business, the successful candidate will work within a team to design, develop, deliver and support software that solves our customers’ varied challenges.
Job Description
• Work within an Agile software team to prototype, implement and deliver software solutions
• Implement a unit test plan to validate completed features
• Document software design and use
REQUIREMENTS
• B.S. in Computer Science, or related degree
• 3+ years of software development
• GIS Software Experience
• WebUI Design and development: ASP.NET, Blazer
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
• C#, C++ programming, Python, Restful API,
• WebUI Design and development: React, HTML, JavaScript
• Git
• Amazon Web Services (AWS), cloud architectures, Microsoft HPC
• Database development (SQL/Amazon RDS), API development
• Technical documentation, Software testing
